Welcome to the sunny side of the Alps, in the northernmost part of Italy and the largest side valley of South Tyrol – the idyllic Ahrntal Valley. Here you can look forward to impressive mountain landscapes, fairytale castles, fresh Alpine air and countless opportunities for an active holiday in every season.
In the village center of Mühlen in Taufers, we offer three modern holiday houses (Treffpunkt, Wiere & Mill) with a total of 13 comfortable holiday apartments. Our accommodation in South Tyrol combines contemporary comfort with Alpine charm – perfect for couples, families and lovers of good living.
Thanks to our ideal location, you can enjoy the peace of nature while staying right in the heart of the village: bakery, supermarket, bus stop, restaurants, bars, pharmacy, bicycle rental and hairdresser are all close by. This makes your holiday in the Ahrntal Valley especially relaxed and convenient.
You will also be spoiled when it comes to culinary pleasures: the TREFFPUNKT features its own café, pastry shop and bistro with an extensive breakfast selection, homemade cakes, fine pastries and delicious ice cream sundaes. A true meeting place for gourmets – and the perfect start to an exciting day in the mountains of South Tyrol.

Sustainability – a responsibility we live by
For us, sustainability is not a trend, but a conscious choice. We are especially proud to operate in an energy self-sufficient way.
Thanks to three photovoltaic systems and our own hydroelectric power plant, we produce more energy than we consume. This allows us to generate clean energy – for a sustainable future.
Responsible use of resources is second nature to us. We take waste separation very seriously and kindly ask our guests to support us as well. In addition, we use environmentally friendly cleaning products and consciously choose eco-friendly solutions in many areas.
Sustainability also plays an important role in our café and pastry shop: we strive to purchase as many regional products as possible, and our coffee is prepared exclusively with fresh local milk. In our pastry kitchen, everything is homemade – with great attention to detail and respect for people and nature.
Sustainability is a journey we take step by step, with the aim of constantly improving and making our contribution to protecting the environment – today and for future generations.

Our story
Our main house dates back to the 16th century and, according to tradition, is one of the oldest houses in Mühlen in Taufers. Back in the days the house was used as a farm.
With the rise of tourism in the 50's, our grandparents converted the property into a holiday home.

Our story
1984 we opened our cafe and have been running it as a family business ever since. In 2014/2015 we rebuilt the main house and started renting out 5 comfortable and modern holiday apartments. In 2019 we also renovated our second holiday home, which is located 100m away, where we now offer 5 additional apartments for our guests.

Today
Today we are especially proud of the fact that we are energy self-sufficient. Thanks to our photovoltaic system and our own hydroelectric power station, we produce more energy than we consume. Environmentally friendly energy for an environmentally friendly future!

Travel Eco-friendly
If you want to travel without your car, you can easily get here by train and bus.
Take the bus no. 450 towards the Ahrn valley, which leaves from the train station in Bruneck every 15 minutes and takes you straight to Mühlen in Taufers. The bus stop is located directly in front of our holiday home Treffpunkt in the village centre.
With the GuestPass you can use public transportation for free during your stay.

If you arrive by train or bus in South Tyrol you can use the "Südtirol Transfer”, a region-wide connection shuttle for the lastfew kilometres to your accommodation.
You can get to your holiday accommodation from the train stations in Bolzano/Bozen, Meran/Merano, Mals/Malles, Brixen/Bressanone, Bruneck/Brunico or Innichen/San Candido, as well as from the ‘Flixbus’ bus stops in Bolzano, Meran, Klausen/Chiusa, Vahrn/Varnaor Sterzing/Vipitenoand after your holiday you will be brought back to the stop. The group transfer from the nearest train stations or ‘Flixbus’ bus stops to the South Tyrolean accommodations, as well as the individual transfers from all the transit hubs, can be booked online at www.suedtiroltransfer.com.
